DREAM THEATER keyboard wizard Jordan Rudess demonstrated one of the string ensemble presets from MOTU‘s impressive symphonic library for their Mach Five 3 software sampler at this year’s NAMM (National Association Of Music Merchants) show, a massive music-products convention that took place January 24-27 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. Check out video footage below.
DREAM THEATER recently commenced work on the follow-up to 2011’s “A Dramatic Turn Of Events” for a tentative late summer/early fall release. The band’s next CD will be made available through Roadrunner, with whom the band re-signed last fall. DREAM THEATER first joined forces with Roadrunner in January 2007 and has so far released three critically acclaimed albums with the label. Roadrunner issued DREAM THEATER‘s ninth studio LP, “Systematic Chaos”, in 2007 and went on to release “Black Clouds & Silver Linings” in 2009 as well as “A Dramatic Turn Of Events”.
