METALLICA frontman James Hetfield joined CORROSION OF CONFORMITY on stage last night (Sunday, May 29) at the Fox Theater in Oakland, California to perform the song “Seven Days”, which appeared on C.O.C.‘s 1994 album “Deliverance”. Video footage and photos of his appearance can be seen below.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY has a long history with METALLICA, having opened for the Hetfield-fronted band in the late 1990s. Hetfield sang backing vocals on the song “Man Or Ash”, from C.O.C.‘s 1996 album “Wiseblood”, and CORROSION OF CONFORMITY frontman Pepper Keenan guested on METALLICA‘s cover of LYNYRD SKYNYRD‘s “Tuesday’s Gone”, which appeared on METALLICA‘s 1998 “Garage Inc.” EP.

Hetfield last year said that Keenan returning to CORROSION OF CONFORMITY was one of his “Top Ten Things Of 2015.”
