Many times, the way an album is introduced to a listener really differs from what you finally get the chance to listen to. Nice cover…Very industrial let’s see the “inside” does it worth? and then the listening begun…

This particular release of Rusted Chains from Germany belongs to this category. A mixture of Death Metal riffing hardcore/ metalcore vocal lines and some melodies in the likes of Swedish death metal rip-off consist this album’s materials.

After 5 songs you can say nothing really good goes on with this album. Just an average metal release not offering anything fresh or even nothing monumental. Maybe if they tried to put some personal character to their compositions the outcome would have been more interesting.

Although the production follows the international standards and it’s quite good…the problem seems to be in the compositions. All songs sound the same and the 40 minutes seem like a century…

Maybe next time they’ll be here with a more Rusted Chains character album. Hope their next songs will be here to offer something worth talking to. I really believe they can do better! Until then though…
