“A Parallel Zoetrope” is a 7″ split LP, which consists of 500 copies from the Greek Blacksters Aenaon and the Romanian band Satanochio. In the first side of the LP you can listen to Aenaon’s song “I, Tyrant”. The song starts with a classic black metal riff that reminds some favorite bands like late Satyricon.
First demo release for the Greek black metallers Imprure Worship (actually this is the second demo cause the band initially started out under the name of Helvete in 2001 and recorded a demo entitled “To A Forthcoming Dark Age” in 2002.
Here’s a very nice piece of music coming from Greece’s Avith. This debute album happens to be of those you rarely come across. Yes, they are female fronted, but here you won’t find bubble gum tunes or fake gothic elements, but truly deep and atmospheric music.
I guess that it was about time for our country to show a bigger interest in a genre with such a big historical background that despite the fact that has offered many values at the aggressive musical archives, it has remained more underground than I think it should have been.
