Syros is one of the gems found in the Aegean. One of the greatest islands with classic beauty it is not only an aristocrat but also the biggest badass of the Cyclades. Home of the famous “Rembetiko” music, which is considered by many to be the tough punk / doom of Greek traditional music, has accommodated also many students, ambitious artists and musicians.
Needless to say, Backyard Festival has reason to be held there. In a few days, bands from Athens will gather at the university campus and share their tunes with a very excited crowd. The bands that will perform are the following:

All of the bands are some of Athens’ finest and are more than ready to travel to Syros Island for a one-in-a-lifetime experience. The entrance is free and the venue is in the heart of Ermoupolis. Don’t give it a second thought, grab some tickets and hop on the boat for an amazing desert rock festival located in one of the most beautiful surroundings.
