"We definitely have European influences and have grown up with bands like KREATOR, DESTRUCTION and SODOM," says HAMMERCULT frontman Yakir Shochat. "Lots of important groups signed with Noise Records in their early days. RUSH To Release ‘The Garden’ 10-Inch Picture Disc

After a successful campaign last year for Record Store Day, Canadian rock legends RUSH are again partnering with independent retail for an exclusive 10-inch picture disc for Black Friday — November 29. The 10-inch includes two versions of "The Garden" — the closing track fromRUSH's 2012 album "Clockwork Angels". Side A features the studio version from the album, while Side B includes a live version of the song with the Clockwork Angels String Ensembletaken from the upcoming live release "Clockwork Angels Tour". Designed by Crankbunny (Norma V. Toraya), the 10-inch features artwork from her stunning animated screen projections shown during the performance of "The Garden" during the"Clockwork Angels" tour. This special 10-inch will be limited and available only for this special celebration of independent music retailers.

RUSH To Play Benefit Concert For Alberta Flood Relief

Due to recent flooding and water damage at the Scotiabank Saddledome, the RUSH concert originally scheduled for Wednesday, July 24 had to be canceled. RUSH has been moved by the situation in Alberta, Canada and has decided to perform its "Clockwork Angels" show at the closest location possible on the same date — Wednesday, July 24 in Red Deer, Alberta at the Enmax Centrium — and has all proceeds to go to Alberta Flood Relief. RUSH will donate its fee and pay for all its expenses. Their promoter partner, Live Nation, will also donate its time and fees towards this cause. The venue, Enmax Centrium, will donate goods and services to the event as well. It's an all-hands-on-deck situation to donate time in order to raise as much money possible for our Alberta friends and fellow Canadians in need.

RUSH: Two-Minute Trailer For ‘Clockwork Angels’ Concert Film

A two-minute trailer for the forthcoming RUSH "Clockwork Angels"concert film from Fadoo Productions can be seen below. The set will likely arrive sometime in the fall. RUSH captured the "Clockwork Angels" tour by filming in Phoenix and Dallas on November 25, 2012 and November 28, 2012, respectively. Reports at the time indicated that the Dallas show would be the primary source for the film, with the Phoenix footage used mainly as a backup.
