D-Human - Demo 2010Let me tell you a story, it began 4 years ago when Achilles (vocals/guitar), Nicolas (guitar) and Jim (bass) decided to create D-Human, the whole idea seems quite appealing. D–Human have formed in Athens and have already played in a number of gigs supporting bands like 81db & 3fold pain.
These Greek metalcorers clearly have what it takes to follow the routes of Sepultura and Machine Head . “You can clearly feel both Sepultura’s and Machine Head style and influence in our work” –Achilles stated when asked on the band’s work.
First demo release for the Greek metalheads and the guys have done a pretty nice job, with “aggressive” vocals, flammable guitars, cool bass rhythms and hammering drumming sounds, wrapped up together with a hardcore seal of steel. The baseline material and the milestone of the band’s work comes with “Messiah Complex” (first entitled song of the demo), the band’s production on that piece is well – worked and the guys seem to have done well. The song per se is characterized by brutal rebellious lyrics, aggressive howls, well- constructed guitar riffs with hardcore elements and energetic drum thrusts. In this part of the review I have to note that the overall musical structure of the demo is thick and with a purpose. The D-Human’s project closes off with “Rupture” – track no3- there is a lot of “barking “ and nicely done “screaming “ from Achilles that suits to the riffing and nicely produced solos from both Achilles and Nick.
Waiting for the band’s next step to be even more eruptive and even though there is enough room for improvement, surely those guys can pull it off.

Standout tracks: ” Messiah Complex “, ” Rupture”.
