German thrashers DEW-SCENTED have set “Invocation” as the title of their new album, tentatively due in May in Europe via Metal Blade Records. The band entered Soundlodge Studios in Northern Germany this past Monday (February 1) with producer Jörg Uken (GOD DETHRONED, SINISTER) to begin recording the CD. The cover artwork is being created by Björn Goosses of Killustrations.com.

Commented the group: “After some last preparations in our rehearsal room this past weekend, we started tracking drums at Soundlodge Studios with Jörg Uken on Monday. It’s fucking freezing outside, but in terms of drumming things are going great so far and Marc-Andrée is on fire!

“The material for this new album is INTENSE and the drumming pretty demanding, so it’s gonna be fun working some more on this one…”

DEW-SCENTED is:

Leif Jensen – Vocals
Michael Borchers – Lead Guitars
Alexander Pahl – Bass
Martin Walczak – Rhythm Guitars
Marc-Andree Dieken – Drums
