Mr. Lordi of Finnish heavy metal monsters LORDI will have his third art exhibiton at Simerock in Rovaniemi, Finland from July 13 until August 11. The exhibition is titled “Vistoja Kuvia” and it celebrates both LORDI’s and Simerock Festival’s 10-year anniversary. The exhibition offers a glimpse of nature, but more than that, stories behind the music and album art. In this exhbition Mr. Lordi showcases artworks from his previous art exhbitions.
The opening will be held on Friday, July 13 at 18.00, with Mr. Lordi in attendance.
Mr. Lordi designs LORDI’s visual elements, which are an essential part of the band’s artistic presence. He has expanded his artistic expression beyond this world.
LORDI will enter WireWorld Studio in Nashville, Tennessee in September with renowned producer Michael Wagener (METALLICA, OZZY OSBOURNE, SKID ROW, DOKKEN, RAVEN, MEGADETH) to begin recording its new album for an early 2013 release.
