The Inferno Festival and Indie Recordings joins forces, and present to you one HELL of a WEDNESDAY APRIL 8th

On stage at JOHN DEE:

Indie Recordings newest signing, and will release their debut album “VORUNAH” April 6th in Norway, April 27th in the rest of Europe. SARKE might sound like a new name, and in fact it is, but this grim story has more pages than one first might think.

Formed in 2008 by its namesake Sarke, who has spread his angry art through Khold, Tulus, Old Man´s Child and Sensa Anima. On vocals is the legendary NOCTURNO CULTO from the mighty Darkthrone. Need I say more?

Mencea is Indie Recordings first non-Norwegian signing, and these hard hitting Greeks will give you groove oriented, intense modern metal that bends the listener’s perception of the various genres of extreme music.

With their debut album “Dark Matter, Energy Noir”, Mencea aimed to join the movement of other forward thinking contemporary extreme bands such as Gojira, Meshuggah, and Opeth to name but a few…and they bloody well did!

Drawing inspiration from the greats – Pentagram, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and so on – this gang will bring the classic doomy heaviness to the stage. Featuring members from Audrey Horne, Gorgoroth and Manngard. Pure gold.

Indie Recordings will host the 3rd floor bar/lounge at Rockefeller!

Our profiled artists like Enslaved, Satyricon, Audrey Horne, Vreid, Keep of Kalessin and more will be DJ-ing, we’ll host meet&greets with Indie Recordings bands, and you’ll be drinking beer and banging your heads to old and spanking new releases from the label.

There will also be quizzes and competitions with spectacular prizes, all in the name of metal!

In other words, the 3rd floor bar will be THE place for some good old fashion metal mayhem!
