Norwegian-Spanish gothic metal band SIRENIA last fall entered the studio to record the follow-up to 2011’s “The Enigma Of Life” for an early 2013 release via Nuclear Blast Records.

Commented the group: “We’ve been in the studio again this weekend, recording some more vocals. Now we are half way with the vocals to be finished.”

SIRENIA previously stated about the group’s upcoming CD: “We feel confident that the sixth SIRENIA album will have some nice surprises up its sleeve, as we‘ve been determined to make this record somewhat different from the previous two albums.”

SIRENIA‘s latest album, “The Enigma Of Life”, was released on January 21, 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records.

The band’s “The End Of It All” video was once again directed by Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked withDIMMU BORGIRLACUNA COILIN FLAMESSONIC SYNDICATE andKAMELOT, among many others.

SIRENIA recruited singer Ailyn (born: Pilar Giménez García) as the replacement for Monika Pedersen, who left the group in 2007 after only one album due to “musical differences.”

Ailyn is best known as a former contestant on the Spanish version of“The X Factor”, the biggest television talent competition in Europe.
