According to TMZ.com, TWISTED SISTER will embark on its final tour, dubbed “Forty and F**k It”, in 2016. A rep for the band tells the site the farewell trek will feature the coreTWISTED SISTER lineup of Dee Snider (vocals), Jay Jay French (guitar), Mark Mendoza(bass) and Eddie Ojeda (guitar), along with Mike Portnoy (DREAM THEATER,ADRENALINE MOB, THE WINERY DOGS) on drums.

Portnoy joined Jay Jay French and the surviving members of ADRENALINE MOB on stage on March 21 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey to perform the TWISTED SISTER classic “You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll” as a tribute to the two bands’ drummer, A.J. Pero, who died one day earlier of a suspected heart attack. Video footage of the performance can be seen below.

As previously reported, TWISTED SISTER will headline “A Concert To Honor AJ Pero” on June 13 at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey. Tickets, priced at $45 each, go on sale April 8.

Pero died at the age of 55 while on tour with the band ADRENALINE MOB. After members of that group failed to rouse him on their tour bus on March 20, he was taken to a Poughkeepsie, New York hospital and pronounced dead.

Jay Jay French revealed last month that TWISTED SISTER will “honor” Pero by fulfilling its touring obligations this year with the help of “a professional drummer who is a friend.”
