On August 7, Aniruddh “Andrew” Bansal of Metal Assault conducted an interview with Matt Harvey of “gore-metal” originators EXHUMED. You can now watch the nine-minute chat below.
EXHUMED’s latest album, “All Guts, No Glory”, sold around 900 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD debuted at No. 32 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
“All Guts, No Glory” was released on July 5 via Relapse Records. The follow-up to 2003’s “Anatomy Is Destiny” was recorded at Arcane Digital Recordings in Arizona with engineer Ryan Butler (MISERY INDEX) and at Trench Studios with John Haddad (ABYSMAL DAWN, INTRONAUT). It was mixed and mastered at Mana Recording Studios by Brian Elliott (GRAVES OF VALOR). The album was also made available on deluxe, saw-blade shaped vinyl and as a limited-edition two-disc set.
