A previously unreleased MESHUGGAH track, “Pitch Black”, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. The song, which was recorded in July 2003 (around the time MESHUGGAH‘s “I” EP was released) at Fear And Loathing studios in Stockholm, Sweden by MESHUGGAH guitarist Fredrik Thordendal, is available for free download as a two-track EP from Scion Audio/Visual, (a.k.a. Scion A/V), the in-house record label and lifestyle marketing division of the Scion marque produced by Toyota Motor Corporation for the North American market. In addition to the “Pitch Black” title cut, the EP includes a live recording of the “obZen” song “Dancers To A Discordant System”.
MESHUGGAH will embark on a North American headlining tour later this month with ANIMALS AS LEADERS as direct support and INTRONAUT opening each evening.
This continent-shifting, sonically devastating tour will launch in Orlando, Florida on February 11 and will run through March 3 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

MESHUGGAH‘s latest album, “Koloss”, has sold more than 40,000 copies in the United States since its March 2012 release.
