KREATOR: Second ‘Dying Alive’ Trailer Released; German Theatrical Premiere Announced

The second trailer for "Dying Alive", the new concert DVD/Blu-ray from German thrash metal veterans KREATOR, can be seen below. Due on August 30 via Nuclear Blast, the set features the band's sold-out homecoming show in Oberhausen, Germany on December 22, 2012 after an extensive 45-day European tour in support of KREATOR's "Phantom Antichrist" album. The packed and sweat-driven show was filmed by 24 cameras, as well as guitar and even mosh-pit cams. The DVD/Blu-ray contains footage of the Oberhausen concert, a behind-the-scenes documentary as well as video clips. Approximate total running time: 115 minutes. The exclusive theatrical premiere of "Dying Alive" will take place on August 29 at the renowned theater Lichtburg in KREATOR's hometown of Essen, Germany starting at 8 p.m. CET. KREATOR mainman Mille Petrozza will be present at the event and will be available for a question-and-answer session after the screening. A signing session is planned as well. DYING FETUS Re-Signs With RELAPSE RECORDS, Announces North American Headlining Tour

Death metal powerhouse DYING FETUS has announced a North American headline tour for this fall. The trek kicks off October 5 in Wilmington, North Carolina and runs through November 2 in Springfield, Virginia. The tour features support from EXHUMED and DEVOURMENT, as well as WAKING THE CADAVER (October 4-19), ABIOTIC and RIVERS OF NIHIL (October 26 - November 2). Special VIP packages that include a general admission ticket, an exclusive herbal grinder, a meet-and-greet with the band, limited-edition 20th-anniversary poster, and VIP souvenir laminate will be available for purchase here. General-admission tickets go on sale this Friday. It has also been confirmed that DYING FETUS have re-signed with their long time record label Relapse Records. AS I LAY DYING Officially Pulls Out Of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE North American Tour

Due to the recent arrest of their lead singer Tim Lambesis, San Diego metallers AS I LAY DYING have canceled their participation in the upcoming KILLSWITCH ENGAGE North American headlining tour. Says AS I LAY DYING in a statement: "In light of recent events, AS I LAY DYING will, unfortunately, not be taking part in the upcoming tour withKILLSWITCH ENGAGE. Given the circumstances, we feel that it is best for the band to be off the road while the current situation gets sorted. We'd like to thank all of our fans for their ongoing support at this difficult time." Lambesis was arrested on may 7 for allegedly hiring someone to kill his estranged wife. He was ordered held on $3 million bail during his arraignment hearing last Thursday and he faces nine years in state prison if convicted.
