Cooking With FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE

Italian symphonic death metallers FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE have posted a cooking video featuring their drummer, Francesco Paoli. Check out the clip below and pick up some of the products used in the video at FleshgodApocalypse.com. Commented the band: "We are really proud to officially announce our last addition to our merchandise. "This is a completely different and pioneering idea driven by the great devotion and respect that we have for our country, Italy and our region, Umbria. "As Italians, we take much pride in our food and traditions, that's why we present our artisan 'pasta.' "This is a high-quality product, something that you hardly find in foreign countries stores. "We personally collected the most famous and delicious types to offer to FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE fans as another way to enjoy Italian art. "As for promotional campaign, and due to high shipping costs of these items, we decided to lower the prices for the next period in order to give the chance to everyone to enjoy these special products. "Here follows a little clip with our drummer Francesco Paoli showing how to cook it in the proper way." In other news, FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE is preparing to film a video for an as-yet-undisclosed song from the band's latest album, "Labyrinth". The group states: "It will definitely stand up from the average as we are going to shoot it in one of the most beautiful places in the world, Sicilia. This region was part of Greece right in the era where the 'Labyrinth Of Knossos' myth is collocated and our philological research led us there. It will be artistically deep and metaphorically intricate, a real reflection on the sense of our lives. "Considering how big this matter is and how much we love our art, we decided to invest all the FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE pasta and wine profits in a big production video as well as in the future development of the band. "Last but not least, we will officially start the HUGE touring campaign in support of our new album, 'Labyrinth'. We will play all around the world, starting in Europe in January, continuing in Central America, Asia and Oceania in spring and coming back with an incredible tour in North America in the summer." "Labyrinth" was released on August 16, 2013 in Europe and August 20, 2013 in North America via Nuclear Blast.

SUNN O))) And ULVER Join Forces In A New Collaborative Work

SUNN O)))'s most recent studio album, 2009's "Monoliths And Dimensions", and ULVER's 2013 album, "Messe I.X-VI.X", found both evolving and longstanding groups venturing into the world of acoustic arrangement and contemporary orchestration. Besides arriving at this seeming parallel in vision, the pair's long-standing camaraderie was initiated during SUNN O)))'s 2003 "White1" sessions with the track "CutWOODED" which was produced by ULVER, in tribute to the deceased film director Ed Wood. ULVER's decision to emerge from the shadows into live performance, in 2009, unveiled a new facet of showmanship, presentation and the grandiose which took their audiences to an unforeseen level. SUNN O)))'s presence has always been felt, whether in their hundreds of legendary live concerts, the reissue of out of print albums in devotion to their loyal fanbase, or the recent unveiling of their new web site — and the anticipation of something new was heightened beyond belief recently when the label posted online the words, "SUNN O))) and ULVER 2014". Yes. At long last they have come together for a more developed collaborative work. It has now been confirmed that these words, SUNN O))) and ULVER, together, represent an astonishing yet somehow totally tenable matrimony of these two earthshakingly powerful forces, coming together like tectonic plates. The result of this union is a three-track recording entitled "Terrestrials"; three movements which are fluid like the flow of magma beneath the Earth's crust, sonically uninhibited, unpredictably cosmic, haunting and stirring yet simultaneously ceremonious and beautiful. Southern Lord shall release "Terrestrials" in February 2014.

The autobiography of Ellefson, co-founder and bassist of 11-time Grammy-nominated heavy metal titans MEGADETH, was made available on October 29 via Howard Books. Ellefson's memoir, "My Life With Deth", chronicles the story of Ellefson's fall into addiction during the band's early years, followed by his subsequent recovery and the return to faith which championed the band's rise to fame over the past several decades. The book was written withJoel McIver, the bestselling author of 21 books on rock music, and features a foreword byAlice Cooper. World rights to "My Life With Deth" were sold to Philis Boultinghouse atHoward Books by agent Lisa Gallagher at Sanford J. Greenburger Associates. Since 1983, the celebrated metal band MEGADETH has sold more than 20 million albums, received eleven Grammy nominations, and built a fan base of millions. Still going strong, they recently toured the world with METALLICA, ANTHRAX and SLAYER. Now, in "My Life With Deth", Ellefson tells the whole behind-the-scenes story of the band and his personal journey from suffering to salvation. At first glance, Ellefson's history reads like a how-to manual of excess, from hardcore drugs to X-rated debauchery. But Ellefson goes much deeper, taking us on a gripping journey from his Lutheran upbringing as a Minnesota farm boy, through the culture shock he experienced when he arrived in Los Angeles and entered the music industry, to his drug-fueled MEGADETH days, and finally how he beat his addictions and embarked on a path of sobriety and faith, entering a new life of Christian devotion. Today, studying to become a Lutheran pastor, Ellefson presides over MEGA Life! Ministries, a foundation that reaches hundreds of churchgoers every week. Ellefson says: "My autobiography is not the usual tale of rock 'n' roll woe, but rather something I hope will truly inspire people. I have dedicated my life to my craft, and I wanted to share the story of how a kid with a bass guitar and the dream of rock stardom literally risked it all to move from the farm in Minnesota to Los Angeles, and with a lot of hard work, sacrifice and a little luck along the way, made the dream come true. I think the readers will enjoy the stories, as well as the hardships, of this way of life as a musician and artist. I've been very open about my life's obstacles and the means by which I overcame them. Now, my hope is that this story will inspire others to follow their dreams and really live out the purpose for their lives, too.” The book features contributions from Kerry King (SLAYER), Scott Ian (ANTHRAX), Ellefson's current bandmate in MEGADETH Shawn Drover and also former colleagues Chris Poland andMarty Friedman. In addition to numerous gold and platinum records, David is the author of the book "Making Music Your Business" and has two metal bass guitar instructional DVDs through Rock House Method entitled "Metal Bass Vol. 1" and "Vol. 2". He is also a featured bass clinician, keynote speaker and panelist on the subject of music and the music industry.

PAUL STANLEY Says ‘People Will Be Blown Away’ By KISS’ New Stage Show

On June 1, legendary rockers KISS will kick off the European leg of their"Monster" world tour in Stockholm, Sweden and they'll have a new stage show for the trek. VH1 Radio Network's Dave Basner caught up with the band's frontman, Paul Stanley, when he opened his new restaurant,Rock & Brews, in California on Wednesday and Paul spoke about what to expect from the jaunt. "It's really great," Stanley said. "You know, for so many years, we've talked about a new stage show and basically what we've been doing has been an extension of the old stage show. So people would sometimes come and, obviously, the band does a great show and it's great to be there, but some people would say, 'Gee, it doesn't look that different.' This is a completely different stage, it follows a really great theme, the lights are like nothing you've ever seen before." When pressed for more details, Paul said, "Um… I hate to give anything away but when you see first photos of this new tour, and we're headlining festivals all over Europe, I think people will be blown away by what we're doing onstage."
