Exhumed
Necrocracy

Moving this time to the field of death/grind, to review the new album by Exhumed. A band known for its goregrind beginnings, that moved to a more death/grind style of today with "Gore Metal" (1998) and "Slaughtercult" (2000), making them an important name in the scene.

Russian Circles
Memorial

Russian Circles’ music can be described as sounds of experiences, sounds-soundtracks of never directed films. Although an instrumental band, the songs speak out for themselves, being completely clear like old stories written in paper.

Royal Hunt
A Life To Die For

I’ll start by stating that I’ve made a major mistake for not waiting the whole year to end before I give my final top-20 list to the chief editors. This album shows me that it’s the last time I did it and from now on, I’ll be giving my list the first day of each new year, when I’ll have listened all the albums of the current year.

Panagiotis Karagiannidis

Studied Business Administration, Panagiotis is Metalpaths' founder and editor-in-chief. He still believes that can be the... guiding light to extreme music (NOT!) and he would die to see a Pantera reunion show.
