One of the most legendary figures in music, Lou Reed, best known as guitarist, vocalist and songwriter of the Velvet Underground, died today at the age of 71.
TRIPTYKON — the occult/avant-garde metal project formed by former HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST singer, guitarist, and main songwriter Tom Gabriel Fischer (a.k.a. Tom Gabriel Warrior) — will release its second album, "Melana Chasmata", on April 15, 2014 (one day earlier internationally).

The clip was directed by Don Argott and edited by Demian Fenton, the team responsible for the forthcoming LAMB OF GOD feature film "As The Palaces Burn", which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in February 2014.
According to The Pulse Of Radio, Marilyn Manson is joining the cast of the hit ABC TV series "Once Upon A Time". Manson will provide the voice for The Shadow, a being which was first seen at the end of the show's second season and has already appeared in the recently started third year. Manson will make his debut on the season's eighth episode, scheduled to air in mid-November.
It is really amazing how that was achieved, but ladies and gentlemen, this is the eleventh album for Korn since their self-titled debut in 1994. Eleven albums in nineteen years show that this band was never feeling safe about its music, while the sales and recognition they’ve achieved so far could easily drive them to a state where they would release albums every three or four years, like many other bands have done so far.
The pleasures of life that stick with you truly are the small ones. Having on your hands the new album from the greatest rock band of the last 20 years, getting lost inside that extra terrestrial, psychedelic art cover and listening to the first notes of “I live behind the clouds” classifies as one of these pleasures.
I was always in the position to take Trivium’s side in all possible conversations about them. There were many crappy groups out there, but people would focus on throwing their arrows on the Americans, maybe because it was Roadrunner Records’ primary band at the moment and they would support them so strongly, stating they would become the next Metallica or Iron Maiden.
I’ll start this review by saying that my relation with Fates Warning has always been special and controversial, as I was never a fan of the albums that have made a lot of people love them deeply, such as ‘’Perfect Symmetry’’, ‘’Parallels’’ and ‘’Inside Out’’.
There is no doubt that if there is a band that knows how to rock, it's Monster Magnet! For more than two decades now, their music still travel us to outerspace and further more to the most bizarre, psychedelic galaxies. This time, the Monster has scheduled another trip for us through its brand new "midnight record", as Dave Wyndorf likes to call it; "Last Patrol".
